Archies Card Shop

Our little spot is Shop No Mri/115 in the Main Market area of Vikaspuri. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside Archies Card Shop because we have so many cards packed onto the shelves. You have to walk carefully so you don't knock anything over. We spend most of our mornings dusting off the gift items and making sure the birthday cards are in the right sections. Sometimes people come in and spend an hour just reading the poems inside the cards, and we just let them be. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, but we haven't gotten around to changing the bulb yet. Vikaspuri gets really busy in the evenings, so that's when we stay on our feet the most. We handle a lot of paper and envelopes, so my fingers always feel a bit dry by the time I head home. It’s nice when someone finds the exact card they were looking for. We have some stuffed toys and small trinkets too, mostly just scattered around where they fit. It isn't a high-end boutique or anything, just a regular shop where the bell rings every time someone pushes the door open. We stay open pretty late compared to the vegetable sellers nearby. It’s just us here, making sure things stay in some kind of order while the world goes by outside our front window.
