Aquolac Paints can be found at 70 Kirti Nagar Industrial Area, right on Najafgarh Road. Being in an industrial area is quite different from being in a regular market. Everything is on a bigger scale here. The trucks rumble past on Najafgarh Road all day long, and the dust from the factories nearby sometimes settles on our front step. Our shop at number 70 is mostly about the paint. Large drums and smaller cans are stacked up, ready for whatever industrial or home project comes our way. The air inside always has that slight chemical tang of fresh paint, which we have grown used to over the years. It is a big, open space compared to some of the smaller shops in the city, but it still feels full when we have a lot of inventory. We don't go in for fancy displays or bright lights. The lighting is just basic, and the floor is concrete because it needs to be tough for the heavy loads. Working in the Kirti Nagar Industrial Area means we are surrounded by people who are making things and building things. We fit right into that environment. Focus stays on the paint and the daily tasks of loading and unloading. It’s a straightforward business at a straightforward address, and we just keep it moving every day.
