Anurakti Udayan Foundation

Our office is actually a home in Munshiganj. We are located at the house of Bebi, who is the wife of Raja Vipta Nand. It is in the Biharijanakpuri neighborhood. Anurakti Udayan Foundation started here because we didn't see the point in paying for a big office when we could work from where we live. Munshiganj is a lively place to be. There are kids playing in the street and people selling vegetables from carts. It gets a bit loud sometimes but we don't mind it one bit. The address is long and can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers, but we always manage to get our mail. We have a small corner set up with a couple of computers and some stacks of paper. It’s not very organized to look at, but we know where everything is. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat. It’s just that kind of place. We’ve been here in Biharijanakpuri for quite a while now. The house is old but it stays cool in the summer. We don't have any big meetings or corporate events. We just sit together and handle the day’s tasks. It’s a very humble setup for Anurakti Udayan Foundation. We are just regular people trying to do something useful with our time. It works for us and that is what matters.
