Alok International

Alok International has its office at 212, Shivam House, which is inside the Karampura Commercial Complex. It is a big, busy building and sometimes people get a bit lost trying to find the right staircase to reach us. Our space is mostly just desks, a few computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We do not have a fancy showroom or a big lobby with a receptionist. Most of our work involves a lot of phone calls and emails to coordinate trade and logistics. The walls are a bit plain, and we usually have stacks of papers waiting to be filed away. Karampura is a noisy part of town, so there is always the sound of traffic and other workshops humming in the background. We are a small group of people who have worked together for a long time, so we just get on with the day’s tasks without much ceremony. Parking around the complex can be a real headache, which is something we warn everyone about before they visit. We don’t spend money on glossy brochures or big signs. We just focus on getting the documents right and making sure the shipments we handle get to where they are supposed to go. It is a straightforward business office where we drink too much tea and try to stay on top of the daily workload. We like the location because it is central for the kind of work we handle every day.
