Our spot is located at 1, Central Market on West Avenue in West Punjabi Bagh. It’s a familiar corner for us, right where the traffic flows through the main part of the market. The office is basically just a room where we keep the desk and the computer for our daily work. We spend a lot of time discussing the different types of poles we supply, whether they are for street lights or other uses. The walls have some old calendars and a few photos of finished installations from years ago. It’s not a modern glass office; it’s more of a traditional workspace with heavy wooden furniture. We keep the door open most of the time to let some air in, though it means we hear everything happening in the street. Dealing with the logistics of moving long poles through the city is always a challenge, so there is a lot of planning done on the big notepad on the desk. We don't use a lot of fancy software, just the basics to keep track of what’s going where. When people come by to talk about a project, we usually offer them a glass of water and sit on the plastic chairs near the window. It’s a very grounded way of working. We know the local area well and have seen the market change quite a bit over the years. We just keep doing our thing every day.
