You will find us at 1/4331 on the third floor, which is part of Khasra Number 587 in Ram Nagar Extension. It is a very busy and crowded area, typical of this part of Delhi where every inch of space is used. The stairs up to the third floor are a bit steep and narrow, so we don't get many casual visitors, which is probably for the best. We need the quiet to focus on our export-import records without distraction. The space is quite small, and we have to be very careful with how we stack things so we don't run out of room for ourselves. It is a very local setup. Most of our neighbors are doing similar kinds of small-scale business or living there with their families in the apartments around us. We hear the sounds of the street all day long—vendors yelling, horns honking, and people talking. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. Inside, it’s just a few desks and a couple of old fans that creak a bit when they are on full speed in the summer. We do all our own filing and mail. There isn't any fancy staff to handle the small things for us. We just do it ourselves. When we need a break, we go down to the street level to get some tea or a quick snack from the cart. It is a simple way of working.
