Wh-76 in Mayapuri Phase-I is where we spend all our time. If you’ve ever walked through the industrial area here, you’ll know it’s mostly just trucks, dust, and the sound of machines running. We’ve got our spot here and it’s pretty straightforward. The gate is usually open, and there’s always something being loaded or unloaded near the entrance. It gets quite hot in the summers, especially with all the metal around, but we keep the fans going and try to get the work done before the afternoon heat gets too bad. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There’s always someone hammering something nearby or a crane moving in the next plot over. We keep our paperwork in a small cabin that’s a bit more peaceful, but most of the action happens out on the floor. Our team is just a bunch of regular people who know their way around the yard. We’ve been in this part of Delhi for a long time, so we know the local chai wallahs and the guys who fix the machinery when it breaks down. It’s a busy life, and there’s always a bit of grease or dirt on our hands by the end of the shift. We don’t really have a grand story to tell, we just keep the operations running day after day. It's the kind of work that doesn't stop for much.
