Aanaya Earth Foundation

Our place is on the first floor of Scf-2, right along Link Road. We’re directly across from the Jindal Clinic, so we are pretty easy to find if you know Purshotam Garden at all. Aanaya Earth Foundation is really just a bunch of people who care about the environment and wanted to do something local. Link Road is usually humming with traffic, which keeps us on our toes. The stairs up to our office are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step. Once you're inside, it’s mostly just a few rooms filled with project folders and maps. We don’t have any fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We'd rather put what we have into the work we do. Some days it gets a little messy with all the paperwork, but we know where everything is. It’s a lived-in space. We spend a lot of time chatting with people who drop by from the clinic across the way or neighbors from Purshotam Garden. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, just trying to do our bit right here. It feels good to have a dedicated spot for this. The light comes in nicely through the front windows in the afternoon. It’s not perfect, but it is our workspace and we are happy with it. We just try to keep things moving forward and stay helpful to those who stop in.
