Thakur Iron & Ss Works

Thakur Iron & Ss Works is located in Village Ghiwadhar, which is part of the Harsidhi Block. We are in Ward No- 8. Our workshop is situated near the Ram Janki Math, a well-known spot in our village area. We spend our days working with iron and stainless steel. It’s noisy and dusty work, but it is what we know how to do. There is always the sound of cutting metal or welding going on in the background. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning. We work in the open air mostly, or under a simple roof to keep the rain off. People from the village and nearby areas come to us when they need something made or repaired. It could be a gate, a window frame, or some simple tools for the farm. We just take the orders as they come and try to get the metal work done correctly. The district around here is quiet compared to the big cities, but there is always someone needing something fixed or built. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. The Ram Janki Math is just a short walk away, and it’s a good landmark for people who aren't from around this specific part of Ghiwadhar. We don't use any high-tech machines, just the basic tools and our hands. It’s hard work, but it’s honest. We just focus on the iron and steel and getting the job finished.
