Sheranis Welfare Foundation

We are located in the Sikta Tola. It’s part of the Lakar-Sisai panchayat in the Lauriya Block. If you know West Champaran, you know it’s a lot of farmland and small villages. Sheranis Welfare Foundation is right in the middle of all that. Our address is out here in the 845453 area. We don't have a big staff. It's just a few of us from the village who wanted to put together a foundation. We use a small room as our office. It’s got everything we need, which isn't much. Just some chairs and a desk where we keep the records. It’s a very local operation. We don't go for big speeches or polished presentations. We just talk to people in the village and see what's happening. The weather can be tough sometimes, but the work continues. Being in a rural block like Lauriya means things move at their own speed. We don't try to rush it. We just stay consistent. It's important to us to be here where the people are. We are just regular people from Sikta. Nothing more, nothing less. We just keep our books in order and do our part. It's quiet here, which helps us focus. We don't have a lot of visitors from outside, just the locals who know us. That’s enough for us. We're happy to be working in our own corner of Bihar. We usually start the day early and finish when the light goes. It's a good way to live.
