We are set up at Varma Chouk in Narkatiaganj. You can find us by looking for Rajanikant Niraj’s place. We are out here in Bettiah, West Champaran. This foundation isn't a big operation with lots of employees. It's just a few of us working out of this spot. We chose this area because it’s where we live and where we saw things that needed attention. We don't do much in the way of fancy publicity. If you live near the chouk, you’ve probably seen us around. We deal with all sorts of local matters. It isn't always easy, and some days are slower than others. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a normal building where we meet and talk to people. Rajanikant keeps things moving along. We focus on the practical side of things. If there is a problem in the neighborhood, we try to see how we can help. It's not about being the biggest group in Bihar. We just want to be useful right here in Narkatiaganj. People know they can just walk in and talk to us. We don't use much jargon or complicated language. We just speak like we are talking to a neighbor over tea. That’s how we’ve always done it. It feels right for this place. We take pride in just being consistent and being here when people knock. It’s a long road but we are happy on it every single day.
