Sdt Supporting India Foundation

Manoj Kumar Pandey is the contact person for us here in Bettiah. We are based in the Dusaiya area of Banuchhapar. Sdt Supporting India Foundation is the name on our papers, but we are just a small group of friends and neighbors. West Champaran is our home, and we wanted to do something for the people around here. Being in Bettiah 845438, we see a lot of things that could be better. We don't have a grand plan to change the whole country, despite our name. We mostly focus on what is happening right in front of us in Banuchhapar. Manoj keeps the records and makes sure we are staying on track. We help out with local problems, like getting kids into school or helping elderly folks with their errands. Our office is just a simple room with some chairs and a table. There is nothing fancy about it. We don't wear suits or give big presentations. We just talk to people like human beings. Sometimes we fail at what we try to do, but we keep trying anyway. Life in Bettiah has its ups and downs, and we are just trying to make the 'ups' a bit more common for the families who live on our street. We aren't a big NGO with lots of money. We are just local people using what we have. That’s about it for us.
