Nawaz Construction Company

Nawaz Construction Company is based out of Po.-Lauriya in the West Champaran district. It’s a rural setting, quite far from the big cities like Patna. The address we have also mentions Sikka in Gujarat, which is a bit confusing even for us, but our daily work happens right here in Bihar. The air is different here, more open but very dusty when the trucks move through the village roads. We work out of this small office that stays quite warm during the long summers. There’s a lot of brickwork and basic building stuff involved in what we do every day. We don’t have a fancy website or any marketing team to talk about us. Most of our work comes from people who know us in the district and just walk in. We deal with local laborers and try to manage the supplies that come in from the bigger towns nearby. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes the roads impossible to use, so everything stops for a few days. We just sit around and wait for the mud to dry up so we can get back to the site. It’s a slow pace of life but the work is steady enough to keep us going. We have some old equipment that needs fixing more often than we would like. The office has a few wooden chairs and a big table covered in site plans and dust. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around.
