Blacksharp Foundation

We are over here in Bhagwanpur 40, specifically in the Tetaria area of East Champaran. It's a quiet spot, and we've been around for a bit now. People mostly know where the Kothiatetaria village is, so finding us isn't too hard once you're in the neighborhood. We started this because we saw a lot of things that needed doing right here at home. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a few rooms where we get together to figure out how to help out. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is in this part of Bihar. We don't have a big team, just some local folks who care about what happens in our backyard. Most days you’ll find one of us sitting out front or busy with some paperwork inside. We try to keep things moving along even when the power goes out or the roads get messy during the rains. It’s a lot of small steps, day by day. We don’t really do big speeches or have a lot of glossy flyers. We just know the families around here and they know us. If someone needs something, they usually just walk up and ask. It’s pretty straightforward. We've lived here our whole lives, so we understand the local problems better than anyone from the city would. It’s hard work, but we stay at it because it’s our home. We don't have fancy titles or anything, just people doing work.
