American Homoeo Clinic

American Homoeo Clinic is right at Mitra Chowk, which is a very central spot where several roads meet. Because we are located at the chowk, there is always something going on outside our door. The clinic is a small space, and the walls are mostly covered with shelves that hold hundreds of little glass bottles. There is a wooden desk where we sit to talk with people and write down their names in our big ledger. The floor has seen a lot of feet over the years and is a bit scuffed up. We keep the front door open to get some fresh air, but that also means a bit of dust from the street comes in with it. You can hear the constant sound of horns and people talking from the market nearby. On busy days, people sometimes have to wait on the bench we kept outside. We don't have any fancy equipment or big signs inside. It is just a simple place where we count out white pills and put them into small paper packets for the folks who visit us. We know the people who work in the surrounding shops and often chat with them during the slower hours. It is a very straightforward way to spend the day. We’ve been here at Mitra Chowk for a long time, and the neighborhood feels like home to us. It is just a regular local clinic for regular people.
