Alam Bricks Plant

Alam Bricks Plant is tucked away in Ward No.10 of Nagardehi Village. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here near the Mainatand Post Office, but it’s where we have the space we need for the kilns. This part of Pashchim Champaran is mostly fields and open air. We started this plant because there was a need for materials in the block. We have a few guys from the village who work with us every day. It’s a simple setup. We spend a lot of time looking at the sky, hoping it won't rain when we have a batch drying out in the open. Rain is the one thing that really messes up our schedule. When the weather is good, the place is a hive of activity. We’ve got the kilns going and the tractors moving back and forth across the yard. It’s a bit noisy for the neighbors, but everyone in Nagardehi knows us. The office is just a small corner in the shed where we keep the records and handle the paperwork. Sometimes the mud gets everywhere, especially after a storm, and we have to spend a day just clearing the paths for the trucks. We don't have a big website or a sales team. People just come by the gate and ask what we have available. It’s a direct way of doing things. We’ve been here in Mainatand for a good while now and we don't plan on going anywhere soon. It’s just honest work in the dirt.
