You can find L & T at F-12 A in the STPS Colony. That is in Santaldih, which is out in the Purulia district of West Bengal. It is a very specific kind of place to work, being in an industrial colony like this one. Most people living here are connected to the power station in one way or another. Our office isn't anything to write home about or show off. It is a practical space designed for actual work, not for looking pretty for visitors. Purulia can get quite hot in the summer, and we just deal with it like everyone else in the colony does. We don’t have a marketing team writing stuff for us, so this is just us speaking our minds. We spend our time checking through things and making sure every document is in order. It is a quiet life compared to the big cities, but there is always something to do. We know our neighbors and we know the area very well. We don’t pretend to be something we are not. We are just a small part of the local community here in Santaldih. People know where to find us if they need anything at all. We keep regular hours and try to keep things very simple. There is no need for big corporate speeches when everyone in the colony knows who you are anyway. We just show up in the morning and get to it. Some days are slow, but we stay until the clock says it is time to go.
