Ohms Electrical & Co.

We are located out in Village Pratappur, which is near Barjora in the Bankura district of West Bengal. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't from around these parts. Ohms Electrical & Co. has been operating from this village for quite some time now. Our workspace isn't anything like the offices you see in big cities like Kolkata. It's a practical spot where we keep our tools and supplies. The roads can be a bit dusty, especially during the dry season, but it’s home to us. We deal with a lot of electrical components and wiring issues for people nearby. Most mornings, neighbors stop by to ask about some repair or just to say hello. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. There’s always some wire being stripped or a meter being checked on the benches. It gets quiet in the evenings when the sun starts to go down over the fields. We’ve got the pin code 722 202 written on all our mail, and that’s how the postman finds us. It’s a simple life here, focused on getting the electrical work done right. We don't use big words or have fancy brochures. We just look at what's broken and try to fix it using what we have in the shop. Sometimes we have to travel out to other parts of Bankura to look at a job site, which can take most of the day on these roads.
