Our office is situated at 20 NDL Basu Sarani in the Collegepara area of Siliguri. It is a nice spot near Nigamalok. Siliguri is a gateway for everyone going up to the hills or into the Northeast, so we see a lot of people passing through. We have been working out of this building for a good number of years now. It isn't a fancy corporate office. We have wooden chairs and a lot of files piled up on the shelves. The air can get quite damp here in West Bengal, especially during the monsoon, so we are always cleaning. We mostly arrange cars and plan routes for people who want to see the greenery. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency out there. We just focus on what we have in front of us. Most of the guys working here grew up right in this neighborhood. We know the drivers and we know which roads are blocked when it rains heavy. It is a lot of work coordinating everything, especially when the trains are late. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the phones to ring. There’s no big secret to how we run things. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see who needs help getting to their next destination. It’s a busy life but we are used to the pace. We just keep the wheels turning.
