Gift 'n' Gift

Gift 'n' Gift is our little shop on Swami Dayanand Marg in Welleslyganj. It’s a busy street, and there’s always someone walking by or a rickshaw honking outside. We spend our days surrounded by all sorts of items. Some days it’s quiet, and we just tidy up the shelves or talk to the shopkeepers next door. Other times, like during festival seasons, it gets pretty hectic. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the boxes pile up in the back. That’s just life in a small shop. We’ve been here in Welleslyganj for a good bit now. People stop in just to say hello or look around when they’re waiting for someone. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just us behind the counter. We pick out things we think people might like. Sometimes we get it right, sometimes we don’t. It’s a bit of a gamble, but we enjoy it. The floor is a little uneven in one corner, but we’re used to it. We try to keep the windows clean so people can see inside. It’s a simple life running a shop on a main road. You see all kinds of people every day. We just take it as it comes. It isn’t much, but it’s our place and we’re here every morning. We usually open up around nine and stay until the street gets quiet at night.
