Vallammeen Fisheries Private Limited is up in the hills of Wayanad, specifically in Vythiri. Our address is Karattuchalil, Vp Xiii/55. It’s a bit different doing fisheries work up here compared to the coast, but we make it work. The air is cooler and the landscape is a lot greener. We have a small office where we manage the business side of things. It’s not a big corporate building; it’s more like a house that’s been converted to fit our needs. We spend our days coordinating where the fish go and making sure our records are up to date. Sometimes the rain in Wayanad makes the roads a bit tricky, but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Kerala. We just want to do a decent job and keep our customers happy. The people working here are all locals from the Vythiri area. We know each other well and that makes the work go by faster. There’s no fancy talk or complicated mission statements here. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. It’s a steady pace of life. If you’re ever driving through Wayanad and pass by our spot, you’ll see it’s just a regular local business doing its thing in the mountains. We don't need much more than that to be satisfied with our day.
