TALEN-RESORT LLP

We are tucked away in Old Vythiri at Thangals Kunn, which is part of the Kunnathidavakka area in Wayanad. If you know Wayanad, you know it gets very green and very wet. Most of our days are spent dealing with the humidity and making sure the rooms stay dry and comfortable for whoever is staying with us. We are an LLP, but don't let the legal name fool you; it’s really just a few of us working together to keep this place going. The mist comes down heavy in the mornings, and sometimes you can't see the road clearly until ten o'clock. We chose this spot because it felt right, away from the main noise of the bigger towns. The address might sound a bit long, but once you get to Old Vythiri, most people can point you toward Thangals Kunn. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the floors to answering the phone when it rings. It’s a lot of physical labor, especially keeping the weeds from taking over the paths. We don't use any fancy booking systems that cost a fortune. Usually, it's just a notebook and a pen. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We just want people to have a place to sleep where they can hear the birds instead of traffic. It’s a quiet life, and we are fine with that.
