Okman Builders & Developers Private Limited

We are based out of a place called Hope in the Thalamala Estate, over in Chundale. It’s a beautiful part of Wayanad, though we’re usually too busy with work to notice the view much. Building and developing around here is what we do at Okman Builders & Developers Private Limited, mostly working with the local terrain which can be a bit tricky because of the hills. Our office is a simple setup on the estate where we keep our files and meet with the crew. We are just local people who know how to handle construction in this part of Kerala. It’s not like building in the flat city; you have to worry about the slopes and the heavy rains. We have a small group of workers who are quite used to the mud and the steep ground. A big corporate office or anything polished like that isn't for us. It’s more about getting the foundations solid so the houses stay put. Sometimes we have trouble getting the trucks up the narrow roads, which can be a real headache. We don’t use any fancy sales pitches. We just tell people what is possible on their land and then we get to work. It is a lot of physical labor and coordinating with suppliers, but we have been doing it long enough that we have a rhythm. We just take it one project at a time.
