Morning Star Earth Movers

Morning Star Earth Movers is based out of Padinhara Thara. The name kind of says it all because we are usually up and moving before the sun even thinks about coming up. In a place like Padinhara Thara, you have to get an early start to beat the heat and the traffic on the narrow roads. Our setup is pretty basic. We have the machines parked near the house and a small shed for the grease guns and spare filters. There’s no big sign or anything, just the equipment sitting there. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy uniforms. Most of our clothes have holes or oil stains anyway. It’s a quiet life until we fire up those big diesel engines. Then the whole neighborhood knows we are awake. We do a lot of work in the surrounding fields and on the local roads. The soil around here can be tricky, sometimes it’s all clay and other times it’s full of rocks. You have to know what you’re doing or you’ll break a machine. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just wake up, check the oil, and go where the work is. It’s simple, it’s hard, and it’s what we know how to do best without making a big deal out of it.
