We have been here at Narikodemuke for a while, just looking after the property and the guests who show up. Wayanad is famous for its forests, and we are right in the thick of it. Sometimes the mist comes down so thick you can hardly see the next building. We don't have any corporate offices or anything like that; we just work from here. The daily routine involves checking the rooms and making sure the garden isn't getting overgrown. It is a lot of manual work because the jungle always tries to grow back over the paths. People come here when they want to get away from their phones and just listen to the trees. We don't try to be fancy. We just provide a place to sleep and some quiet time. If you are coming from the main road, you have to look for the 10/322-J sign. It is a practical spot for nature lovers.
