Jumaila Granites

You can find Jumaila Granites right on the Mysore-Calicut Road, just across from the Municipal Office in Kalpetta. We are also quite close to Ennemas Government College, so there’s always a lot of activity in this area. Being on a main road like this means we see all kinds of traffic passing through. Our yard is filled with granite slabs that we’ve brought in from different places. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when we’re loading or unloading the trucks that stop by. The office is just a simple space where we keep our records and meet people who are looking for stone. Kalpetta is a beautiful part of the world, and being here feels right for a business dealing with natural materials. We don't have any fancy sales tactics. We just show people what we have and let them decide. Often, students from the college walk by, or people heading to the municipal office stop in to ask directions. It’s a very open sort of place. We spend a lot of our time making sure the stone is cut right and stored safely so it doesn't get damaged. The rain can be a bit much sometimes, but that’s just part of life on the Mysore-Calicut Road. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay. It’s a straightforward business run by local people who just want to get through the day’s work.
