Our place is over in the Ayaniyattu area, right in the Melathilezhamkulam Panchayath. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but most folks around Puthumala know the building at Door No.266. We do food stuff here. Usually, the morning starts with checking what came in from the suppliers. It’s not a huge operation, just a regular space where we handle the Saveur side of things. The kitchen area can get pretty loud when everyone is working at once. There’s always someone washing up or prepping something on the counters. We don't really do much advertising because we're mostly busy just keeping things running day to day. Sometimes the rain here in Puthumala makes it hard for the delivery trucks to get close, so we end up carrying things ourselves. It’s just one of those things you deal with. The floors are concrete and easy to scrub down, which is good because it gets messy. We have a few desks in the front for the paperwork, but nobody sits there for very long. Most of the time, we’re on our feet. The neighbors are mostly quiet, and we try to keep the noise down in the evenings. It’s a decent spot to work, even if the fans don’t always keep it cool enough when it’s humid outside. We just keep the doors open and get on with the prep work for the day.
