Amigo'S Boutique

Amigo'S Boutique is right in Sultan Bathery, Wayanad. Being up in the hills, the vibe is a bit slower, which we like. The shop is filled with various dresses and materials we’ve picked out over the months. It’s not a huge place, just a simple storefront where we hang up what’s new. I spend my days talking to customers and helping them find something that fits their style. Sometimes the newest styles from the city take a while to get here, but we try to keep things fresh. The mist in the mornings here is beautiful, but it can make the clothes feel a bit damp if we don’t keep the front door shut. We have a small mirror in the back for people to try things on. It’s mostly local women who shop with us. They know they can come in and just browse without being bothered. We don’t do big discounts or play loud music. It’s just a quiet place to find a nice outfit for a special occasion. Occasionally, tourists passing through Sultan Bathery stop in to see what we have on the racks. We like the variety of people we meet. Dealing with the distributors is sometimes a headache because of the winding roads up to Wayanad. But the stock always arrives eventually, even if it's late. We’ve been here for a good bit now, and we just keep doing what we do. It’s a simple life running a boutique in the hills.
