Shri Swami Vivekanand College

Shri Swami Vivekanand College has been here on Risod Road in Washim for a while now. It is just a regular place where students from around the district come to get through their classes. You can see the building from the main road, and there is usually a lot of activity near the gate when the morning shift starts. The classrooms are basic, nothing too fancy, just desks and boards where the teaching happens every day. We spend a lot of time making sure things are running okay, even if the power goes out sometimes or the rain makes the yard a bit messy. It is not a very quiet place because of the traffic outside, but everyone is used to it by now. The staff mostly live nearby, so we all know the local shops and where to get a quick tea during the breaks. We have students coming in from different parts of the town and even from the smaller villages around Washim. It gets pretty crowded during exam times, and you can see everyone sitting around with their books. We try to keep the place clean, but with so many people coming in and out, it is a constant job. There is no big secret to how we run things here; we just show up, open the doors, and get to work. It is an important part of the neighborhood, and most people around here know exactly where we are located.
