We operate out of a place called Manohar on Vidya Nagar’s 42nd plot, which is right off Gorakshan Road. It’s a residential-looking area, and our setup is quite modest. We deal with cotton, which is a major thing in this region, so we’re always keeping an eye on the local markets and crop conditions. The office isn't anything special, just a few rooms where we keep our ledgers and handle the paperwork for the cotton trades. Gorakshan Road can get pretty busy with tractors and trucks, especially during the harvest season when everyone is moving goods around. We’ve been in this spot for years and the locals know us well. It’s not a corporate environment at all; it’s more about personal connections and long-term relationships with the farmers and buyers. We don't have a website or a fancy logo. Most of our work is done through phone calls and meeting people face-to-face. The desks are covered in papers and maybe a bit of cotton dust now and then. It’s a simple life, focused on a single commodity that drives the economy here. We just try to be fair and keep our word, which is how things are done in the cotton trade. It gets hot here in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay busy with the work at hand. Evenings are for finishing the last bits of tallying before heading home.
