Our office is located in Dhamni, over in the Mangrulpir area. We are set up at Dnyaneshwar Kashinath Hajare’s place. It’s a local spot that everyone in the village knows. We don’t have a massive office building; it’s more of a community space where we handle the financial side of things for the people around here. The multipurpose part of our name just means we try to help out with different types of savings and small credit needs. It’s a lot of manual work, writing things down and then putting them into the computer when the connection is good. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and local shopkeepers who come in to deposit their earnings. It’s a very informal environment. We might even be wearing flip-flops if it’s a rainy day. There’s no pressure to look like a corporate executive. We just want to do the job right. The room can get a bit crowded on market days when everyone is in town. We try to keep things moving so no one has to wait too long. It’s a simple life in Mangrulpir. We take pride in knowing our members by name. We aren't trying to expand all over the country; we’re just happy serving the people right here in our own backyard. It’s basic, honest work and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep our heads down and manage the accounts.
