Bhutda Shishu Hospitals is located on the Main Road in Warud. It’s a spot that most people in town know because we’ve been here serving the local community for some time. Since we are on the Main Road, it’s easy for parents to bring their children here without getting lost. Warud is the kind of place where news travels fast, so we don’t need to do much to let people know we are here. The hospital is dedicated to kids, which means things can get pretty lively during the day. We have various rooms for different needs. It is a practical building, designed to handle the daily flow of patients from the town and the surrounding villages. Sometimes we see a lot of babies and other times it is older children with broken bones or fevers. We just handle whatever comes through the door. The staff lives around here too, so we understand the local way of life. We aren't a big city hospital with glass walls; we are just a plain building on the street. The routine is usually the same—rounds in the morning and then seeing the outpatients. It gets dusty being on the main road but we try to keep the inside as clean as possible for the kids. People come here because they know us and they know where we are. It is a very direct and honest way to run a hospital.
