Shivsheti Agrotech Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at Ramesh Gadhe’s place in Warud Khurd. It’s out in the Jafrabad area, and that's where we do all our meetings. We’re a group of local farmers who decided it was finally time to work together instead of everyone just doing their own thing. It makes more sense when you’re trying to sell what you grow or buy seeds and fertilizer. We don’t have a big corporate headquarters or a lobby. It's just a spot at the post in Warud Khurd where we meet up and talk about what needs doing for the next season. Some of us have been farming here since we were little kids helping our fathers. We know the soil and we know how the seasons go in this part of the country. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of and the bills are paid. Dealing with the agrotech side of things helps us stay current, even if we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way. If you come by the house, you’ll probably find Ramesh or one of the other guys sitting around working through the books. It’s not always easy, and sometimes the rain doesn’t come when it’s supposed to, but that’s just how life goes for a farmer. We’re just regular people trying to do a good job. We keep things straightforward and don't use big words.
