At Urvi Transformers Pvt Ltd we have our workshop in the Midc area of Wardha. It is located at C-42/2 and it is a relatively quiet spot compared to the busy industrial areas in the big cities. We like the slower pace of life here. Our day usually starts with opening up the large shutters to let the morning air into the workspace. We work on several different types of electrical transformers which involves a lot of winding wire and testing things out. We aren't a massive factory with hundreds of people. It is just a small, dedicated group of us who know the trade well. The workshop floor is always busy with someone soldering or bolting things together. We have a tiny office space for handling the papers but most of the real action happens on the floor. Wardha is a nice place to work because it isn't as frantic as Mumbai or Pune. We know all our suppliers and they know us by name. Sometimes we sit outside for a few minutes during the lunch break if the weather is not too hot. We don't put on any acts for visitors who come by. You see exactly what we are doing as soon as you walk in. It is honest work and we have been doing it this way for many years now. We just want to do a decent job.
