Sunflag Iron & Steel Co Ltd, Bhandara

Sunflag Iron & Steel has this spot in Wardha, specifically over on Bachelor Road in the Shrinagar Layout. It is a bit of a quiet area compared to our main plants, but we stay busy enough throughout the week. The office is named after Shri V G Deshmukh and it feels more like a house than a big corporate building. Wardha gets incredibly hot in the summer months, and the fans in the office never seem to spin fast enough when we are looking over steel manifests and trying to keep cool. We spend most of our time talking to the Bhandara site and making sure the logistics aren't getting messed up. There is a lot of paperwork with iron and steel, more than people think. It's mostly just us sitting around desks, answering the phone, and trying to keep everything organized. Sometimes the layout is a bit tricky for delivery drivers to find the first time, but they eventually see our sign. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just the basic work of keeping the company moving. Being on Bachelor Road means we are close to the local markets, so lunch is usually something from a nearby stall. It's a simple setup. We don't have fancy coffee machines or glass walls, just regular chairs and a lot of folders full of invoices. It’s a honest way to spend the day, even if it gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside.
