Samudrapur Nagari & Gramin Nidhi Limited

Our office is set up in Samudrapur, right near the Panchayat Samiti office and Ward No. 12. You can find us at Vinayak Dagwar’s place. It’s a very central spot in Wardha, which makes it easy for people from the villages to find us when they come into town for official business. We handle both town and rural savings, so we see a real mix of people every day. Some are coming from the farms with mud on their boots, and others are local shop owners or government workers. We try to make everyone feel welcome. The office isn't much to look at, just a functional space where we can get the paperwork done. We have a lot of folders and registers stacked up because we want to keep everything documented properly. The tea stalls nearby are where we usually get our lunch, and sometimes we sit there and talk to our members. It’s a very informal way of doing business, but it works for us and it works for Samudrapur. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make sure the local folks have a place to manage their money without having to travel all the way to a big city. It’s about being here, being present, and knowing the people we serve by their names and their family histories, which is just how things are done here.
