R.K. Engineering

R.K. Engineering is situated at Plot No.C-40 on Ghughus Road. We are right in the middle of the Chandrapur MIDC area, which is exactly where you’d expect an engineering shop to be. It’s hot here, especially during the summer months when the sun beats down on the metal roofs, but we’ve got some big fans that help a little. The plot is filled with various bits of metal and old parts we’ve collected over the years. We spend most of our time at the workbenches or dealing with the machines. It’s a lot of manual labor and technical stuff that doesn't really look pretty, but it’s what we do. The road outside, Ghughus Road, is always busy with heavy vehicles, so there’s a constant rumble of engines in the air. We don't have a sales team or anything like that. Usually, if someone needs something, they just drop by the plot and talk to us directly. We’ve got oil on our clothes most days and there’s always a project half-finished on the floor. It’s a gritty kind of job, but it’s what we know. Chandrapur is an industrial town, and we’re just a small piece of that big machine. We don't make any big promises, we just show up, put in our shift, and try to make sure everything we touch is handled properly before we head home for the evening. It’s a basic life but it works for us.
