Pandu Kirana Store

Pandu Kirana Store is located at Kanhad, which is under the Kausadi post in Seloo. We are actually quite close to Vivek Kirana Store, so there are a couple of places for people to get their groceries around here. Being in a small village like Kanhad means things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Every morning, we open up the shop early to catch the farmers before they head out to the fields. The shelves are packed with grains, spices, oils, and all sorts of household things. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the small space. Most of the day is spent weighing out items and bagging them up for the locals. Seloo is our tehsil and it is where we have to go if we need any major supplies or to deal with official things. Since most of our customers are our friends and neighbors, we spend a lot of time talking about village news. The store is just a simple building with a metal shutter that we pull down at night. No fancy signs or bright advertisements are needed here. It is just a place where you can get what you need for your kitchen. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty if the wind blows from the road, but we just sweep it out and keep going. It is just us running the store day in and day out without much fuss.
