Miss Arti Sorte is found in Krishna Nagar, right near the Income Tax office in Wardha. Being in Wardha is very different from being in a place like Mumbai. The pace of life is much slower and the air is a bit drier. The location is quite easy to find because the Income Tax office is a major landmark that everyone knows. Krishna Nagar is a residential area, so it feels very calm. The office is a simple setup with basic furniture. We have a few cupboards for storage and some desks that have been with us for years. The summer here in Maharashtra can be incredibly hot, so the coolers are always running at full blast. We usually take a longer break in the afternoon when the sun is at its peak. The people who come by are usually locals from the neighborhood. It is the kind of place where you stop to talk about the weather before getting down to business. We don't have any fancy technology or automated systems that you might see in big cities. Everything is done manually or on old computers. The windows look out onto a dusty street with a few trees. It is a very honest and straightforward place to work. We like the quietness of it because it allows us to focus without the constant honking of city traffic.
