We are located at Plot No.19 in the Dipstambh building, which most people around here know as Jivan Jyoti in the Jagannath area of Orissa. It is a bit of a busy spot but we like it that way because it keeps things interesting during the day. This place started because there were not many spots nearby for people to learn about the hotel business or tourism properly. We have a few rooms set up for teaching and there is usually a lot of noise from students talking in the hallways. It’s not a fancy office by any means. We just have the basic stuff you need to learn. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just open the windows and keep going. The weather here can get pretty sticky in the summer months but the fans do their job well enough. Most of us here have worked in hotels before so we know how it actually goes when you are on your feet all day long. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy speeches. Instead, we show folks how to handle the work. If you walk past the building you might see us taking a break outside. It is just a regular group of people trying to pass on what we know about the trade. We have been at this address for a while now and the neighbors in Jagannath know us pretty well. It’s a simple setup. We usually keep some tea brewing for whoever comes by.
