We are based in Chandrapur, specifically over by the CRC, Lch area. Our office is actually at Q.No.-29, which is quite near the Uco Bank. If you find the bank, you are basically there. The company name is Engg. & Metallurgical Cosultants Pvt. Ltd., though that is quite a long name to say every time the phone rings. The building is part of the quarters, so it has a very lived-in feel to it. It is not a shiny new office building. It is a bit older, with heavy doors and windows that sometimes stick when you try to open them. We have a lot of books and technical manuals stacked up on the shelves, which gives the place a bit of a library smell. The fan hums away all day to keep the heat off us. Chandrapur can get incredibly hot in the summer, so we mostly stay indoors and focus on our consultancy work. There is always a bit of dust because of the industrial nature of the city, but we just wipe off our desks and keep going. We don't have any marketing people or fancy brochures. People who need our help usually find us through word of mouth or because they saw our name near the bank. It is a small team of us here, just trying to provide sensible advice on metallurgical issues without any complications.
