Bansilal Katariya High School

Bansilal Katariya High School is situated on Main Court Road in the Sivaji Ward of Wardha. It’s a very central location, so we are right in the middle of the town’s daily hustle and bustle. The school has a long history in this area, and you can see it in the architecture of the building, which has high ceilings and those thick walls that keep the heat out during the summer. We are a high school, so our focus is mostly on the older kids who are preparing for their board exams and thinking about what comes next. The staff rooms are usually overflowing with stacks of notebooks and textbooks, which is just how things go here. We don't have a team of people writing fancy slogans for us. Most people in Wardha already know about us because their siblings or parents went here years ago. The courtyard in the middle of the school is the main gathering spot, and it gets incredibly loud during the lunch break with hundreds of students talking at once. We just try to keep everyone focused on their studies while also making sure the school environment is decent. It’s a plain, honest institution that has been part of the Sivaji Ward community for generations. We take things one day at a time, dealing with the usual challenges of running a busy school in a town center.
