Balaji Food Processing

We are located in the MIDC area of Wardha, not too far from the Telephone Exchange Office. Being in an industrial zone means the surroundings are mostly other warehouses and small factories. Balaji Food Processing is where we spend our long shifts. It’s a big open space with a lot of metal tables and processing equipment. It’s not the kind of place that looks pretty in photos; it’s built for work. We have to keep everything very clean because we’re handling food, so someone is always scrubbing something. The sounds of the machinery can be quite loud, so we have to shout to be heard sometimes. Wardha can get incredibly hot, and inside the shed, it feels even hotter. We don't have fancy office chairs; we mostly stand or sit on stools when we take a break. The Telephone Exchange is a good landmark because people often get lost looking for these specific MIDC plots. We get trucks coming in at odd hours with raw materials, and we have to be ready to unload them. It’s a lot of physical labor, and at the end of the day, we’re usually pretty exhausted. We don't have any PR people writing our story. We’re just local folks in Wardha running a processing unit the best way we know how, day after day. The trucks make a lot of dust when they pull into the MIDC area, but that's just part of the job. We have some tea in the mornings before the big machines start up. It’s a tough life but it is honest and it keeps us busy. We don't have much to complain about really. It is just the way work goes in this part of town.
