Vibav General

Vibav General is our shop located at H. No -1-9-480 in the Julywada Janda area of Hanamkonda. It is a simple general store. We don't have those bright neon lights or big shopping carts. It is just a room with shelves full of things that people in the neighborhood need. We have been in Hanamkonda for a long time and we know most of the families who live around Julywada Janda. They come in for small things like soap or matches or snacks for their kids. The shop is a bit small, so it can feel crowded when more than three people are inside at once. I usually sit behind the wooden counter and wait for customers. Sometimes it's very quiet and I just read the paper or talk to the neighbors who stop by to chat. We don't really do any advertising. People just know we are here at this house number. The floor is just plain cement and the shelves are made of old wood. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We open up early and stay open until the street lights come on. During the festivals, it gets a bit more hectic, but mostly it’s just a steady rhythm. We try to keep everything in stock, but sometimes the suppliers are late. We just tell people to come back tomorrow. That’s how we run things at Vibav General.
