Venkatamallu Auto Services is located right at H. No -1-1/3 in Itikalapally. If you are coming through Narsampet you will probably pass us. The shop stays fairly busy with a lot of noise from the tools and the engines running. There is usually grease on most surfaces and the floor gets dirty by mid-morning no matter how many times we try to sweep it up. It’s just the nature of the work. I started this place because I like fixing things and seeing how they work. My hands are usually stained with oil by the time I go home for dinner. We have a few regulars who stop by just to chat or check on their vehicles. The sun beats down on the roof during the summer and it gets pretty warm inside but we keep the fans going. Sometimes parts take a while to arrive and we have to tell people to wait a bit longer than we thought. It’s not always perfect but we try to be honest about what’s going on. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that to answer the phones so if we don't pick up right away it's because we are under a car or busy with a wrench. It’s a simple setup here in Narsampet. We keep the tools in their bins and hope for a productive day every morning when we open the shutters and start the first job of the day.
