Venkanna Cycle Repairs

This shop is located at Gunnepally, H.No:-C5, right in the Narsimhulapeta area. It’s a small place, mostly just a patch of shade and a lot of tools scattered around. I’ve been fixing cycles for the local folks here in Warangal for quite a while. My day usually starts with dragging the heavy air compressor out to the front. The sound of it kicking on is like an alarm clock for the neighbors. I have an old wooden chair where I sit when there’s a break between jobs, but that doesn’t happen too often. There’s always a pedal that won’t turn or a brake cable that’s snapped. I keep a stock of various tubes and tires stacked up in the back. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the morning, so I usually wear an old hat to keep the glare out of my eyes while I work. People around here rely on their bikes for everything, from going to the fields to getting groceries, so I try to get them back on the road quickly. I don't have a computer or any fancy billing system. I just write things down in a small notebook if I need to remember something. It’s a very basic operation, just honest work with grease and steel. The smell of oil is something you just get used to after a week or two. Most people know me as the guy who can find a way to fix a bike even when parts are hard to find.
