At Venkanna Auto Services, you will find us at H. No -1-52 in Chinnakorpolu. Our shop is where we spend most of our time, usually covered in some kind of oil or grease. Nekkonda is where we are based, and the locals know the sound of our tools by now. We deal with all sorts of vehicles that come through the village. Sometimes it is a tractor that won't start or a motorcycle that is making a funny noise. We don't have fancy diagnostic machines here, just our hands and years of looking at engines. The floor is usually messy with spare parts and old tires lying around. When it rains, the shop gets a bit damp, but we just move the work inside and keep at it. People stop by not just for repairs but sometimes just to say hello or ask for a bit of air in their tires. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. The shop is just a place where things get fixed. It gets really busy during the harvest season when everyone needs their machines running. My clothes always have stains on them no matter how much they get washed. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but this is what we do. We've been in this spot for a good while and the neighbors know us well. It’s just us and the tools, every single day.
