Tsg Masala

Tsg Masala has been based at 16-9-87 on the Civil Court Main Road for a while now. We’re right in the middle of Polakpalli, so there’s always something happening outside our doors. Our work is all about the spices. We spend a lot of time sorting, grinding, and packing different masalas that people use in their kitchens. The smell in our shop is pretty strong, but we’ve grown to like it over the years. It’s a small operation, mostly family and a few helpers from around the neighborhood. We don't use any fancy machines or automated systems; a lot of it is still done by hand or with basic equipment. This way, we can see exactly what’s going into every bag. The Civil Court Road gets quite busy, and we get a lot of people just dropping in to see what we have. We aren't trying to sell anyone on big promises; we just provide the spices that we use in our own homes. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when it’s hot outside, but we keep at it. We focus on getting the right mix for the local taste. It’s a basic business, and we like keeping it that way. If you walk down the main road near the court, you can usually smell the spices before you even see our sign. We keep our doors open late most nights to make sure everyone can get their supplies. It's a busy life.
