Thirupathamma Farms

Thirupathamma Farms is situated at H. No:-4-10 in Maheshwaram. We are part of the Narsampet area in Warangal. This is where our family lives and works. We have been farming this land for quite a while now. It’s not a big business with a lot of people. It’s just us doing the daily chores. We have a few animals and some crops that we look after. The work never really stops because something always needs water or attention. Maheshwaram is a quiet spot, which we like. Our house, number 4-10, is where we keep all our supplies and where we rest after a long day in the sun. It’s a lot of physical work and my hands are pretty rough from it. We don’t have any polished brochures or fancy advertisements. We just focus on getting the work done. Sometimes the harvest is smaller than we hoped for, but we just try again next season. It’s a cycle that we are used to by now. The soil here needs a lot of care to stay productive. We spend a lot of time just pulling weeds and making sure the water is reaching the plants. It's a simple, honest way to make a living. We don't need much else besides a good rain and some healthy plants. If you’re ever in Narsampet, you’ll see many families like ours just working the dirt every day.
