We are located at 5-7-523 in Malgagiri. If you know where the Sai Baba Temple is, we are just near that. It’s a handy spot because people come by after their prayers. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the space. I spend most of my day standing behind the counter or moving sacks of rice around. It gets a bit dusty in Malgagiri because of all the construction going on lately. We sell everything from soap to lentils. Some days are very slow, and I just sit and watch the people go by on the street. Other times, it’s a rush and three people want something at the same time. We don't have a computer or anything, just a notebook for keeping track of things. The temple bells ring at certain times of the day, and it’s a nice sound to work to. My wife comes in during the afternoons so I can go home and eat lunch. We’ve had this shop for several years now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. It’s just a regular kirana shop like any other. We keep the stock on the shelves as neat as we can. Sometimes children come in with small coins looking for sweets. It’s a local place for local people. Nothing more than that really.
